Birthday Party

Tuesday, Oct. 23, 3 - 5 p.m.

Newport City Hall

Enjoy a huge birthday cake, lemonade, and face painting.  Entertainment includes samples of Greg Steinke's 'Newport Fantasy' performed by the Newport Symphony Sea Strings Quartet, a performance of 'Charlotte's Web' by the Lincoln County School of Theater Arts, and a tale of Newport's early history by Rebecca Storyweaver.

 

Birthday Bash!

Rogue on the Bayfront

Features a local band, Newport Anniversary Ale and dancing under the stars.

 

Newport Symphony Honors Newport

Saturday, Oct. 27, 8 p.m.

Newport Performing Arts Center

Newport Symphony presents in honor of Newport’s Anniversary a program that includes work commissioned for the celebration.

 
Rogue Ales launched Newport Anniversary Ale to honor Newport’s birthday.  This historical, limited-edition label depicts the Yaquina Brewery, the first brewery in Newport.

 
Celebrate the City of Newport’s 125th Anniversary with this limited-edition patch for ironing on shirts, caps, or jackets! Each patch is only $3.00. They can be purchased at the Newport Recreation Center, The Greater Newport Chamber of Commerce, the Newport Public Library, the Oregon Coast History Center, or Rogue Ales Public House.
