Zumba Fitness with Amy Bee

Wednesdays & Fridays, 5:40 -6:40 p.m.

Amy has been a Zumba instructor since January 2011.  Her passion for Zumba is contagious and is what fuels her to lead energetic classes with routines that are easy to follow but provide the cardio necessary to help you reach your fitness goal.  Her classes are known for having a laid back atmosphere where it doesn’t matter if you’re a size 2 or 20, you’ll fit in and you’ll have fun.  Try your first class for free!

 

Step Aerobics

Mondays and Wednesdays, 12:00 – 12:50 p.m.

Punch cards (may also be used for Power Sculpt) $90.00/20 classes, $55.00/10 classes or $6.50 drop in

Instructor:  Julia Clemons

 

This class will be fast-paced with a blend of choreographed step aerobics training, with simpler but intense cardiovascular intervals. Body sculpting on the step may be included as well. Each class ends with abdominal exercises and stretching.

Class size is limited due to number of steps available.

 

Power Sculpt

Tuesdays & Thursdays   12:00 p.m. – 12:50 p.m.

Instructor:  Julia Clemons

 

This is a muscle-conditioning class that will incorporate the use of weights, bands, fitness balls, and pilates-based exercises to tone and sculpt your entire body.  This class is great for all levels.  Moves will be incorporated to meet individual fitness needs. Instructor Julia Clemons comes with 15 years experience.

  

 

Zumba!

Zumba is a Latin-inspired dance workout that combines the benefits of working out with the fun of dancing.  This class will be taught by Shannon Rackowski who has more than 25 years of experience in the fitness industry.  Try your first class for free!

 

Stretch & Flex

Mondays & Wednesdays, 9:30 - 10:00 a.m.

10 classes/$25.00 or $4.00 drop in

If you are feeling stiff in your joints and less flexible in your range of motion, give Stretch & Flex a try.  This class is geared toward seniors, but not exclusive!

That’s all it takes to maintain fitness!  Adults can sign up for our 10-week program and receive a free pedometer to track their progress.  Fitness Trainer Shannon Rackowski will give an introduction to “Walking for Fitness” on the first day and assist throughout the program.  Class is limited to 20 students.

 

Pilates Mat Class

Mondays & Wednesdays,   5:30 – 6:30 p.m.

Fridays, 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.

Instructor:  Rebecca Cheek 

 

Pilates is an exercise program that works the core muscles of the body (upper and lower back, abdominals and gluteus maximi) and can be modified for all bodies and abilities.  This class will increase your strength and flexibility, tone your major muscles, and even reduce or eliminate long-term aches such as lower back pain. 

 

 

Dance N' Fitness

Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays   8:30 – 10:00 a.m.

Punch cards: $105/30 classes, $80/20 classes, $45/10 classes or $5.00 drop in

Instructor:  Mary Solomonson

 

Dance N' Fitness is a fun, high-energy class geared toward the intermediate to advanced-level student.  Students passionate about music and dance will get the benefits of a great cardiovascular workout while feeling like they're at a party! Muscle conditioning and floor work are included.  Come and try out your first class free. Drop ins are always welcome!

 

Tae Kwon Do

Mondays & Wednesdays

Youth:  5:30 – 6:30 p.m.

Adults:  6:30 – 8:00 p.m.

Ages 7 and up    $30.00/month

Instructor: Josephine Allen

 

Tae Kwon Do emphasizes self-control and self-discipline.  It is an excellent way to garner confidence and a positive self-image.  Students routinely excel in the classroom and extracurricular activities because they learn to focus their energy and center their minds.  If you are interested in the martial arts, you are encouraged to attend a class and meet with instructor Tim Anderson prior to registering for the class.
