Course Map Register Online

Date Has Changed!

Due to conflicts with the Portland Xterra the Olalla Lake Triathlon will now be:

August 7th 2010!

The Olalla Lake Off-Road Sprint Triathlon will take place on August 7th 2010.
Olalla Lake is a beautiful in-land reservoir nestled among tree covered hills, and is the perfect setting for a Triathlon. The lake itself makes for a great swim course and the run and the bike portions will take place on the footpaths and logging roads surrounding the lake.

The distances are approximately:

Swim: 800m

Bike: 15k

Run: 5k

At this time of year lake surface water temperatures can reach into the low 70's. However it is impossible to accurately predict the water conditions in advance, because they can change dramatically with weather conditions. Wetsuits are not required but athletes are advised to bring one on race day, even if they think they will not need it.

Because this is a new location this year, we are still doing some of the coursework. The distances are approximate and may change slightly between now and race day as we continue to evaluate the options that will make for the best possible race.
