Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee
Mission Statement:
"The purpose of the Committee is to advise the Council regarding issues relating to bicycle and pedestrian transportation, safety, recreation and education. The Committee would act as a resource to provide additional information related to the unique problems associated with non-motorized transportation."
Meetings:
The Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee meets the second (2nd) Tuesday of every month at 5:30 p.m. typically in Conference Room 'B' at City Hall, 169 SW Coast Hwy, Newport. These meetings are open to the public and guests are welcome.
Publications:
Newport Pedestrian and Bicycle Plan - July 2008-- Part of the Newport Transportation System Plan (TSP), this plan lays out the recommended bike routes and sidewalk connections for the City of Newport.
